Description: Everthing in this Saturn catalog image is 3D except for the people and small props. I modeled and rendered the elements in Cinema 4D.

Notes: Saturn supplied a 3D CAD rendering of a new design to be composed in Photoshop. The people were shot from underneath a 6" thick piece of crystal clear glass supported by two forklifts. The art director didn't like the ceiling photos because there were no architectual elements and the space above the car looked compressed.

We worked out a design to give the image more depth, adding columns and other details. I modeled and textured the architecure, electrical, sprinklers and water pipes in Cinema 4D. I painted complex textures in Photoshop. After a few rounds of changes to incorporate type, I rendered out a high resolution image with area lights and complex shadows.
