Description: Comp and finished illustration created for presentation and print.

Software: Stratavision Studio Pro, Bryce, Photoshop and Illustrator

Production Notes: This art was originally created for comp. JWT liked the art, so I prepared the illustration for final sheetfed printing.

I constructed a phone button using boolean operations in Strata. I exported a DXF model into Bryce and smoothed the model. After setting the lighting and glows, I rendered the scene.

Afterwards, I opened the file in Photoshop and created a button path to be used as a guide in Illustrator. Working in Illustrator, I created a burst from a vector circle by using the roughen filter to add points. I then created the burst lines by using the punk filter. After copying the burst path back into Photoshop, I filled it with a very bright yellow and set the layer opacity to twenty percent After finishing the art, I added noise using KPT hue protected noise filter, to fragment any banding in the glowing areas.
